On behalf of the Abington Street Hockey League, we are writing to invite your support for one of the final major improvements at Arnold Park: completing the permanent lighting package for the new street hockey and multi purpose courts.

ASHL has served Abington families for years and continues to grow as a community youth sports program. Each summer, nearly 200 local children participate in the league, learning teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and a love for the game. With the support of the Town of Abington, CPA funding, local volunteers, and community partners, we are now building a permanent home for street hockey at Arnold Park.

The Arnold Park project will deliver two new outdoor courts: one dedicated street hockey court and one multi purpose court for both street hockey and basketball. The project replaces the aging court currently at the park and creates a safer, more usable, year round recreational space for ASHL players, families, and the broader Abington community.

We are currently fundraising to cover the remaining dollars needed for Alternate 2, which would complete the lighting package at Arnold Park. This final lighting component is important because it will extend safe play into the evening hours, improve visibility for players and families, and allow the courts to serve more children and residents throughout the season.
