Who can play?

Children who are residents of Abington and have birth years from 2012 through 2020 are eligible to play.

When are games played?

Regular season games are scheduled for Wednesday nights. Game times will be 5:15pm, 6:15pm, 7:15pm, or 8:15pm depending on your child’s division.

The league will conclude in early September, when each team will have their shot to take home the ASHL Cup.

Where are games played?

All ASHL games will be played at the newly constructed Street Hockey Courts at Arnold Park in Abington.

What should each player bring?

Required Equipment

  • Hockey stick
  • Helmet with face cage
  • Sneakers

Recommended Equipment

  • Shin pads, soccer style works best
  • Hockey gloves
  • Elbow pads

Restricted Equipment

  • No rollerblades
  • No skates
  • Sneakers only

Helmet Help

Players need a helmet with a face cage. Here are a few places families can look:
